The woman's Kith store in New York is home to some of the freshest and trendiest sneakers. The store itself is insanely small, almost the size of 2 single bathrooms aligned one after another. IT'S TINY! There were shoes on both ends of the wall and there was about two sales associates working the floor. All this began to raise questions about how limited their shoe sizes would range from judging from the space of the store. That's exactly when I noticed this cube like tube that was quite a distraction since it was placed right in the middle of the store. I began to place my attention on the associate and that's when I noticed that the cube like tube/tunnel was actually a well like system used to bring shoes from the basement to the store levels floor. Genius. What a great way to make conserve space and have a great functional system that caters specifically to each customers needs and wants as soon as they request it. No need to wait for the sales associate to run back and forth. By the way they communicated what shoes to bring up by using walkies. There's nothing to be changed about this functional/physical design. A true game changer.
