OIL PAINTING

Ran into this old canvas and couldn't help but think of the improvements it needed. The colors are absolutely gorgeous and contrasting.The image is of a woman with semi dramatic makeup and designs on her face in front of an abstract teal and black background. The design is spot on but it could definitely need some improvements starting off with the smudge on the neck. If I could go back and fix this image I would definitely try to make it crisp meaning straight and sharp lines for the background. The face needs inmprovement in regards to face expression/s, and a little cleaning up to do. Coutouring the face could've brought dimension to her face and would've been much more pleasant to stare at. The lips needed dimension and some touching up to do, maybe a different lip color to creat contrast with the color of her skin. Oil painting was hard for a begginer 😁 but definitely worthwhile. Ahhhh and of course! The positioning of the girl (right in the center!!!)could've improved.
